「目立つ」というと、「stand out」という英語表現を思い起こすかもしれません。
でも、「目立つ」という意味で使える表現はもっと他にもたくさんあります。

「目立つ」は英語で stand out といいます。
“stand out” は「〜突き出る」を意味することから、「目立つ」や「際立つ」、「ずば抜けている」など、良い意味で使われます。
